On January 1, 2002 Commando® Products, Inc., a manufacturer of small hand tools established in 1944 and C & S Screw Products, Inc., a manufacturer of precision machined parts established in 1967, merged into one corporation.  Both corporations were and continue to be USA family owned and operating under the Commando® Products, Inc. name.  The corporation moved into a 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Grandview, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri.

With Commando’s current Brown & Sharpe Screw Machines and CNC Equipment we have machining capacity up to and including 2-1/2" round, 2-3/16" hex, or 1-3/4" square bar stock.  The CNC lathe has a chucking capacity up to 10” diameter.  Our CNC Machining Centers gives us the capability to mill, drill and tap small to medium sized parts.  With our two new Swiss Turn CNC Precision 7-Axis Automatic Lathes we are able to produce a wide range of high precision and complex parts, up to 1” diameter, without secondary operations.  Excellent equipment and qualified employees allows Commando® to furnish precision parts with close tolerances and special surface finishes.

 

With our CNC Machining Centers and other production equipment we are capable of performing most secondary operations, including slotting, milling, threading, cross-hole drilling/tapping, polishing, assembly and etc.  We also have excellent outside sources for heat treating, plating and grinding.
